Calligraphy Stone

Calligraphy Stone takes the intuitive process of Chinese calligraphy writing, and expands it into three-dimensional objects. The shapes of brush strokes are used on the top surfaces to dictate their form, based on which they are then sculpted intuitively in space, and casted with concrete. They are samples for ink stones, pen holders, paper weights or jewelry display stands.
