Yangshao Museum

The project locates on an archeology site where a major discovery was made on the pre-historical period of 4000B.C. -- 2780B.C. Chinese ancestors lived and farmed on the land, leaving potteries with pattern drawings that are simple but elegantly modern. In the hope of spread the knowledge of this culture and increase appreciation of its art achievement, the pottery patterns are translated onto the museum facade.
